Who controls your data

Knight Swift Logistics Limited operates the Knight Swift web and Android services. Privacy questions and deletion requests can be sent to operations@knightswiftlogisticslimited.com.

Data we collect

We collect account details such as name, email and phone number; pickup and delivery details; cargo descriptions and photos; transaction and shipment history; and device or diagnostic data needed to secure and operate the service.

For riders and driver applicants we may also collect live or background location while on duty, identification documents, driving licence details, vehicle details and delivery evidence.

How we use data

Data is used to quote, dispatch, track and complete deliveries; contact customers and recipients; verify drivers; prevent fraud; resolve support issues; maintain operational records; and comply with Kenyan legal and tax obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Location, camera and photos

Location permission supports pickup selection, navigation, shipment tracking and on-duty rider visibility. Camera and photo access is used only when you choose to add cargo, identity or proof-of-delivery images. Public tracking links show shipment progress without exposing private rider contact details.

Storage, sharing and retention

We use service providers for secure hosting, maps, authentication and private object storage. They process only the data required to provide those services. Access is role-based and sensitive images are served through time-limited links.

Records are retained only for operational, dispute, safety and legal needs, then deleted or anonymised. Unsuccessful driver applications and their documents are removed when no longer required for review or compliance.

Your choices and account deletion

You can update profile information in your account, control Android permissions in device settings, and ask us for access, correction, export or deletion. To initiate account deletion, email the privacy address above from your registered email. We will verify the request, explain any records that must legally be retained, and delete or anonymise the remainder.

Security and children

We use encrypted transport, hashed passwords, short-lived secure links and access controls. The service is not intended for children under 18.
